What is Genjeez?

Genjeez is a curated directory of AI products, agents, and SaaS tools. We help buyers discover the right AI for their workflow, and we help product creators reach decision makers actively searching for what they offer.

How is Genjeez different from other AI directories?

Three things: editorial curation (every listing is reviewed before publishing), verified reviews only (reviewers must verify a company email — no anonymous reviews), and Aloos — our gamified ranking system where points are earned, never bought.

Who runs Genjeez?

A small distributed team led by Aman Rawat. We're AI buyers ourselves, which is why we built the directory we wished existed. Read more about us →

Is Genjeez free to use?

Genjeez is free — browsing, comparing, reviewing, and listing your product all cost nothing. For paid featured placement, sponsored newsletter spots, or sponsored news articles, see our Advertise page.

For buyers

How do I find the right AI tool?

Start with Browse, filter by category, pricing, or geography. Then check the Leaderboard to see which products the community has voted up this week.

Are the reviews trustworthy?

Yes. Every reviewer verifies a company email before posting. Anonymous reviews aren't allowed. Reviews stay public even if the product owner asks us to remove them.

Do you take a commission on tools I buy?

No. We charge product owners flat monthly fees for paid tiers. Any traffic or revenue we send to a product is theirs — no affiliate links, no kickbacks.

How often is the leaderboard updated?

Aloos update in real time. Leaderboard rankings refresh continuously, with weekly decay (5%) so freshness wins over historical ranking.

For reviewers

How do I post a review?

Create an account, verify your company email, then click "Write a review" on any product page. Your review goes live immediately — no editorial gatekeeping (we trust verified reviewers).

Why do you require a company email?

To prevent fake reviews, bots, and astroturfing. Anonymous review platforms collapse into noise quickly. Tying reviews to verified work emails keeps the signal high.

Can I be anonymous?

You can use a display name on your profile, but the underlying account must verify with a company email. We never publish your email address.

Do I earn anything for reviewing?

You earn Aloos. +5 for a verified review, +10 for a detailed review with pros/cons, +2 each time another user marks your review helpful. Aloos unlock tiers (Spud → Hot Potato) with perks.

For product owners

How do I list my product?

Go to Submit Product, fill in the form, and we'll review and publish within 48 hours. Free tier is always available — no credit card required.

What's the difference between Free and Paid tiers?

Every product gets a standard listing for free — full page, reviews, category placement, and AI-assistant indexing. For featured placement, sponsored newsletter spots, or sponsored news articles, see our Advertise page.

Can I respond to reviews?

Yes — on Growth and Enterprise tiers. Both you and the reviewer earn Aloos when you respond constructively (encourages dialogue, not defensiveness).

Can I delist my product?

Yes, anytime, from your dashboard. We don't lock you in. Existing reviews stay public on the now-archived page (we believe buyers deserve transparency), but everything else is removed.

Do you offer non-profit discounts?

Yes — open-source AI projects and registered non-profits get free Growth tier. Reach out and we'll set it up.

Aloos & leaderboard

What are Aloos?

Aloos are points. Products earn Aloos to climb the leaderboard. Users earn Aloos to climb tiers (Sprout → Spud → Tater → Russet → Hot Potato). Each user has a daily 5-Aloo budget to give to products they love.

Can paid tiers buy Aloos?

No, never. Aloos are 100% earned. Paid tiers unlock visibility (featured placement, etc.) but the leaderboard is purely based on community engagement. Buying Aloos would destroy the credibility of the whole system.

Why do Aloos decay?

5% weekly decay keeps the leaderboard fresh. Without it, products listed years ago would dominate forever — newer products would never break through. Decay favors momentum.

What can I do with my user Aloos?

Higher tiers unlock perks like skipping the listing queue (Tater+), early access to new products (Russet+), featured profiles, swag, and editorial voting (Hot Potato).

Account & billing

How do I change my plan?

Upgrade or downgrade any time from your dashboard. Annual plans are pro-rated; monthly plans take effect on your next billing cycle.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. We retain your reviews under a "deactivated user" tag (for buyer transparency) but wipe all personal data.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes — within 14 days of subscribing, full refund, no questions. After that, we pro-rate based on time used.

Can I get an invoice?

Of course. All subscription invoices are available in Settings → Billing. We can also send to a procurement email on request.
